Album Review - The Roots "How I Got Over"

When it comes to The Roots there is no middle ground. You either love them or you don't. 

The only problem is how can you not love The Roots especially after listening to "How I Got Over." The Roots provide their listeners with the perfect blend of hip hop and jazz. Ok now I understand if you don't like jazz, but there is no way you can hear BlackThought on these tracks and not nod your, or love every syllable that comes out of his mouth. The album also features rapper Blu, P.O.R.N, and Dice Raw multiple times. Each of these artist go perfectly over the rhythmic beats provided by the band. Now if you are trying to get hyped up or go crazy then this is not the album for you. But if you want to relax and listen to the amazing tracks, the "How I Got Over" is the perfect album for you. Enjoy.
