The British electronic band the Gorillaz come out with there 3rd studio album Plastic Beach. And unlike their previous albums, they add a new aspect to their already unique group. In this album we see a plethora of influential rappers such as Mos Def, Snoop Dogg, De La Soul, Mick Jones, Paul Simonen, Kano, Bashy, Little Dragon, Bobby Womack and more. Each bringing their own unique hip hop flow to make truly unique tracks.
One thing that grabbed me about this album was the varitey of different songs. You have upbeat tracks such as Stylo, Superfast Jellyfish, and Sweepstakes. And then you have nice slow songs such as Orchestral Intro, Empire Ants, and On Melancholy Hill. Definitley want to check out this album if you are looking for something new.
